who we are
This website is dedicated to document the 74th genocide against the Yezidi people in Iraq. On August 2nd, the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIS) took control on Sinjar region, a home for Iraqi vulnerable minority of Yezidis.
ISIS terrorists killed hundreds of Yezidis on their Identity after hours of their occupation, including killing of hundreds of children and women. ISIS also took several hundreds of Yezidi families to Talafar, Baaj and Syria, where men were killed and women may have been raped or abused.
ISIS also forced Yezidis to convert to Islam upon their arrival and offered them death or abandoning their belief.
More than 400 thousands of Yezidis have been displaced from their homes to Sinjar mountain and Kurdistan.
This website will also be used for humanitarian support in the aftermath of the crisis. The dire situation and inaccessibility to food and water have caused death to dozens of children and adults.
